This started as a private inbox. Around two hundred families reached out asking for help with school fees — each one a separate conversation, each one impossible to weigh against the others.

There was no way to tell whose situation was most urgent, no way to check what people had told us, and no record of who had been helped. The loudest message got answered before the most desperate one. That is not a system; it is a queue sorted by chance.

Circle of Good is the system. Families apply in one place. Cases are ranked by genuine need. Our team confirms each one. Verified students are then introduced to people willing to cover their fees.

We are a register and an introduction. We collect applications, check them, rank them, publish the ones we have verified, and keep the paperwork for every rupee that moves.

We are not a fund. We do not collect donations, hold money, or take a percentage. A sponsor pays the school or the family directly, and that arrangement stays between them — with us keeping the record.

Households where the father has died or lost his job come first. That is a deliberate choice, and it is the heaviest weight in how we rank cases.

After that: how the fee compares to what the household actually earns, how close the child is to being removed from school, and how they are doing in their studies.

Nobody is ranked by an algorithm alone. A person on our team reads every case, approves or rejects it, and can put a family ahead of their score when the circumstances call for it.
